Mike Mendillo, Jr., is a Wealth Advisor at Lobo & Pascale Wealth Management, LLC, headquartered in Wallingford, Connecticut. Being a lifelong resident of Wallingford, Mike and his clients always discuss how funny it is that things seem to come full circle in this town. The people of Wallingford were always there to help him, and Mike now has the chance to return the favor by helping those same people achieve financial stability. While he is looking forward to working with clients across the country, there is something particularly special about giving back to his community. Mike’s mother and father taught him the value of hard work at a very young age, and he has instilled that in his day-to-day activities. He continues to grow both professionally and personally and takes pride in striving to go above and beyond for his clients and community.

On a more personal note, Mike is always working on his golf game and tries to get out on the links as often as possible. When he’s not on the course, he opts to fish for bass with his father. They love to fish in tournaments and always enjoy exploring new lakes together. Mike loves watching all sports and is a big supporter of the Mets, Giants, UConn Basketball, Clemson Football, and Boston Bruins. He loves to hangout on the weekends with his family and friends and is always trying to explore new cities with his wife, Emma. They are looking forward to a lifetime of travel together where they can check off destinations from their bucket list. While they love hearing about new travel spots, they are always up for a weekend trip to see a country music concert.

Mike earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the Mario J. Gabelli School of Business at Roger Williams University where he was a double major in Finance and Business Management. It was in the small town of Bristol, Rhode Island where he met some of his closest friends and began making memories which will last a lifetime. Cultivating meaningful relationships is a passion of Mike’s, whether that be on the beach with friends or the office with clients.

After graduation, Mike was fortunate enough to team up with Lobo & Pascale Wealth Management, LLC where he began his career as a Junior Associate in June of 2014. Through this role Mike learned the business from the ground up and offered a fresh analytical perspective of portfolios and retirement planning. Jeremy Lobo and Chris Pascale both acted as mentor figures grooming Mike to learn how to effectively help clients successfully prepare for, transition into, and live comfortably during retirement. Now in an advising role at the firm, Mike thrives on helping craft tailored financial plans for each individual's needs, ranging from young professionals, teachers, business owners, executives and retirees.

Specifically, Mike specializes in working with the Millennial generation as he feels there is hardly a pleasure greater than seeing a client accomplish their goals in the early stages of retirement planning as they strive for long term financial independence. In addition to working with Millennials, he has found both success and joy in helping our cherished healthcare workers plan for the financial future they deserve. One of Mike’s proudest accomplishments was becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional. Only 5.10% of people with this designation are under the age of 30. Moreover, he was humbled that Five Star Professional named him a “Top 40 Under 40” advisor and will be featured in the February / March 2022 edition of Fortune magazine, notably for the ease in which he helps everyone from Millennials to those nearing retirement prepare for their golden years.
